Inventory with Google Earth front end

This web site contains digital data files related to a doctoral thesis, Methods for visualising complex water quality data submitted to the University of Cape Town by Michael Silberbauer.

Canned demonstrations of the Google Earth inventory:

The sites in the next four linked KMZ files will open in Google Earth, if it is installed on the local machine. Remember to expand the "time slider" to select all dates. The "graph" and "data" links within popups will not work from files on a CD because of security risks. To view the complete working system, including the option to try opening the KML files in Google Maps, please use the online water quality inventory. Note that the system is hosted on an overloaded government network, so may only give a reasonable response time after working hours, which are ~07:00-16:00 GMT+2.
